International Cooperation for Sustainable Development

Minister of State for Environmental Affairs Mustafa Hussein Kamel said that the principles of Rio+20, the rules of the United Nations convention on climate change and its Kyoto Protocol represent the foundation of the international system to deal with the issue of climate change and the right of developing countries in achieving sustainable development in line with its national priorities and developmental strategies.In statements before the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20), the minister affirmed Egypt's support for all efforts to strengthen the international cooperation for sustainable development.
