Minister of Finance Momtaz el-Saeed has stressed the keenness of the government for maintaining social care programs. The government is interested in going ahead with the implementation of programs in the fields of education, health, subsidy, pension and social services, Saeed said in statements. This interest reflects the government's financial policy especially programs outlined to subsidize basic goods including petroleum products, he added. "We are committed to pumping any additional funds to subsidize the petroleum products," said the Minister.
