Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and Bahrain’s Minister of Interior General Sheikh Rashed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, co-held an official Saudi-Bahrain round of talks in Jeddah. Opening the meeting, Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz welcomed General Sheikh Rashed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and his entourage, extoling the instructions of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, for their keenness to enhance bilateral relations between both countries.
Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz explained that the meeting is part of the on-going meetings between officials in the two countries for the benefit the countries and peoples, and to boost the march of relations among the GCC countries. Then, they reviewed aspects of bilateral relations and means of enhancing the existing co-operation between both countries, particularly the security field. They also discussed a number of mutual concern issues. Attending the talks from the Saudi side were Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed al-Salem, General Khalid Alhumaidan, the deputy director of General Investigations, and Maj. Gen. Saud bin Saleh Al-Dawood, Director of Minister's Office for Studies and Research. Attendees on the Bahraini side were Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of Customs Department; Salman bin Isa bin Hindi, Governor of Al-Muharrag province; Brig. Gen. Riyadh Eid Abdullah, Director General of General Administration of Court of Ministry of Interior; Brig. Gen. Yousef bin Ahmad Hasan Al-Ghatam, Assistant Undersecretary for Inlets, Search and Follow-up; Brig. Gen. Ala Aldeen Abdullah Hasan Thiyadi, Commander of Coast Guard; Lt. Gen. Mohammed bin Mohammed Rashed bin Denah, Director of Security Information; Lt. Abdulaziz Mayoof Abdullah Alruimiahi, Director of Criminal Investigation, and Lt. Mohammed bin Abdullah Ahmed Alharam, Director of Joint Center of Terror Combat. |
