The 2013 budget of the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) was approved by its board of directors at a meeting chaired by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of ADFCA. The board also approved a guide for procedures of bidding and purchases and discussed the anti-fraud policy for combating administrative and financial corruption.
Other matters discussed by the meeting include irrigation activities, the Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) system. Sheikh Mansour urged double efforts to make further progress and preserve the body's achievements. He underscored ADFCA's vital role in ensuring safe food from farms and consumers.
