Dr Hisham Kandel Received Japanese Ambassador in Cairo

Prime minister Dr Hisham Kandel received Japanese ambassador Nuri Hero Okuda , they discussed issues of mutual cooperation between the two countries during the coming period. Dr Kandel appreciated the support of Japanese government to Egypt in order to develop the Egyptian economy, he also stressed the importance of increasing Japanese investment in Egypt, in addition to activating Japanese tourism after The resumption of flights between Tokyo and Cairo. The Egyptian government provide all facilities for the flow of Japanese capital to Egypt especially Toyota and Nissan, also prime minister appreciated logistic support from Japanese government in the Egyptian presidential and parliamentary elections.

The meeting tackled the importance of mutual cooperation in enhancing technological and technical support in all fields especially the great national, infrastructure projects (the fourth line of the subway, technical education, the grand Egyptian museum, opera house, Suez canal ). Prime minister emphasized the ability of Egypt to attract more foreign investments from around the world and friendly countries. The Japanese ambassador said that Egypt has the qualifications and abilities that qualify it to regain its regional, economic role and to restore the level of economic growth as soon as possible and bring about a gradual improvement in the lives of ordinary citizens.
