Egyptian Qatari Talks with the Qatari prime minister

Prime minister held the mutual Egyptian Qatari talks with the Qatari prime minister, attended from the Egyptian side by ministers of finance, investment, and planning, civil aviation and from the Qatari side ministers of economics, foreign affairs and the Qatari ambassador in Egypt. The talks stressed the deep relations between the two countries and the importance of supporting cooperation especially with the visit of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani prince of Qatar to Egypt in 11 august 2012.

The Egyptian government appreciates Qatar initiative to support Egypt since 25th revolution, allocation of 500 million dollar to support the Egyptian budget in addition to allocation of a deposit (2) billion dollars in the Central Bank of Egypt. The talks included giving a positive message concerning the Qatari investments in Egypt, Completion of the consultations and contacts initiated by the Joint Action Group to support economic cooperation between the two countries, also the importance of holding the mutual committee on cooperation on a regular basis.

Export Development hope to increase the size of mutual trade, financing Egyptian projects (public or private) to import Qatari products.
