Egyptian Delegation to Visit Nile Basin States

Within the framework of Egyptian efforts to enhance links of cooperation with the Nile Basin States, an Egyptian delegation representing non governmental organizations (NGOs) will head for Ethiopia, Uganda, South Sudan and Rwanda. During the 10-day visit, the delegation will meet senior officials in the four countries together with representatives of big local NGOs. The delegation will be led by Magdy Amer, the coordinator of the Nile Basin States affairs at the Foreign Ministry. The planned visit represents an effort to reactivate the Egyptian initiative for developing the Nile Basin States.
