Egyptian Stock Exchange (ESE) lost LE3.7 bn at closing on Sunday amid sales by Egyptian investment funds of selective leading shares. The EGX 30 benchmark index dropped by 1.49 per cent to close at 5716,79 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) was down by 1.14 percent to 527.27 points. The overall EGX 100 index drew back by 1.11 per cent, finishing at 873.69 points.
