The volume of tax revenues reached LE104 billion between July 2012 and January 2013 with a LE20 billion rise against the same period of 2011/2012, said Head of Egyptian Tax Authority Mamdouh Omar. Omar pointed out the rise is due enforcing the anti tax evasion law as well as increasing tax payers, adding the authority has laid down a plan to obtain almost LE10 billion arrears till June 20,2013. He noted that the authority has received LE1, 2 billion only in December 2012.
