UAE Ambassador in Brazil Hosts Luncheon

Sultan Rashid Al Kaitoob, the UAE Ambassador to Brazil held a luncheon in honor of Antonio Patriota, Minister of External Relations of Brazil in the presence of a number of Arab ambassadors accredited to Brazil, Marcelo Salloum, Chairman of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and an official from the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador hailed achievements made in Brazil and Brazilian government policy towards Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian conflict. He pointed out the importance of intensifying high-level visits that will improve relations between Brazil and Arab countries and the conclusion of agreements in the investment fields highlighting that the Arab countries consider Brazil as a strategic partner.

For his part, the Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota commended the keenness of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister to strengthen relations between the UAE and Brazil, especially in the field of political consultations to contribute to a convergence of views towards the various issues of common interest.
