LE1.5 Million for Financing 433 Projects

Minister of Local Development Mohamed Ali Beshr said the local development fund agreed on financing 433 ventures in 16 governorates with investments hitting LE 1.5 million. The 16 governorates are: North Sinai, Menoufia, Behira, Gharbia, Dakahlia, Kafr el-Sheikh, Damietta, Fayoum, Assiut, Sharqia, Giza, Beni Suef, Minya, Qena, Luxor and Aswan.

The projects will be established in the fields of animal, poultry and agricultural production, in addition to setting up selling outlets. The local development fund is one of the most important mechanisms pursued by the ministry for combating poverty, and unemployment, thus achieving social justice, the minister said.
