Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, met with Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, at the Authority’s headquarters in Riyadh. During the meeting, the minister of interior was briefed on the Authority’s efforts, projects and initiatives in the areas of tourism development and national heritage in the Kingdom, besides the job opportunities provided for citizens by the tourism and antiquities sectors, which exceeded 189000 jobs until 2012, with a 27% of the total employees in the sector, as well as the Authority’s role in informing citizens about their country. The meeting also discussed areas of cooperation between the Authority and Ministry of Interior, in the light of a cooperation agreement signed between them in 1425 AH.
