Planning and International Cooperation Minister Amr Darag met in Cairo on 23/05/2013 with Mission Director for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Egypt Mary Ott to discuss ways of boosting cooperation with the US. The US is keen on providing the necessary technical and financial support to the Egyptian government to support its battered economy, Ott affirmed. Darag, meanwhile, hailed the US support, affirming that the Egyptian government, after the January 25 Revolution, is working in an institutional framework.
