Singapore's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Law K Shanmugam met here Wednesday with HE Qatar's Ambassador to Singapore Rashid bin Ali Al-Khater, on the occasion of the end of his tour of duty. The Singaporean Minister hailed the efforts being exerted by the Qatari ambassador in enhancing bilateral relations and friendly ties between the two countries, and strengthening the bonds of cooperation and the development of political and economic relations. He wished the Ambassador success in his future mission and the relations between the State of Qatar and Singapore continued development progress. For his part, HE Ambassador Al-Khater expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister and the officials in Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for cooperation throughout his tenure, which contributed to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
