Meetings of the Egyptian-Romanian Business Council kicked off 8/6/2013 in Bucharest with the aim of boosting economic relations between the two countries.
Discussions tackled means of Egypt's benefiting from the European grants program, which earmarked 20 billion euros for financing agricultural projects. Head of the Egyptian side to the meetings Hassan Al Shafei said the council seeks outlining a strategy with the aim of increasing the value of joint trade exchange to $1 billion over the coming period, up from the current $450 million. |
