Egypt, Hungary Probe Bilateral Ties

Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Hatem Seiful-Nasr met on 10/6/2013 with visiting Hungarian State Secretary for External Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto.

Szijjarto is in Egypt to inaugurate the second phase of an Egyptian-Hungarian medical supplies factory in the Industrial Zone of the Tenth of Ramadan City.

The meeting took up means of promoting political and economic cooperation. The two officials also discussed raising the number of scholarships offered by the Hungarian side to Egyptian students.

In the same context, Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Hatem Saleh said that the industrial growth rates increased significantly by 3% during the last ten months.

The minister's statements came during the inauguration of the second phase of an Egyptian-Hungarian medical supplies factory in the Industrial Zone of the Tenth of Ramadan City factory. The minister was accompanied by Szijjarto.
