The Public Authority for Industry (PAI) announced it has completed preparations for His Highness the Amir award for outstanding factories and for a seminar on industrial investment opportunities to be held on October 6 under the auspices of Minister of Commerce and Industry Anas Al-Saleh.
The PAI said in a statement that the event was aimed at strengthening relations with industrialists and investors, pointing out that the final results for the award will be announced according to international standards of excellence. It added it has been cooperating with the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) to prepare six new investment opportunities in the petrochemical sector to be announced on the sidelines of the seminar and in line with the vision of the Public Authority for Industry for the development of the industrial sector and diversification of income sources as well as the creation of new job opportunities and horizons for innovative projects. The projects to be presented on the sidelines of the event include manufacturing industries characterized by high technology and require locally available raw materials. |
