Under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has ordered the provision of USD 100 million as financial support for Morocco to build solar electricity generation and wind energy stations in a number of villages and outlying areas to serve development projects in Morocco.
This initiative comes within the framework of the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa to strengthen the bonds of fraternal cooperation and bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Morocco, in addition to supporting the efforts of construction, economic and social development for brotherly Moroccan people, and to promote clean, renewable and sustainable energies, as well as to encourage vital projects related to social development. Inhabitants of the villages and regions will benefit from this initiative which will aid in developing economic social and growth projects through the establishment of the renewable energy stations. |
