Investment Minister Osama Saleh said he is seeking to list two companies at the Egyptian Stock Exchange before the end of this year.
The companies should pump new blood into the market, Saleh said in statements on the sidelines of the 9th Money and Finance Conference, which kicked off in Cairo. There are rules to register new companies through public bids or the bonds market, Saleh said. He said the current government is seeking the best ways to deal with shares. Commenting on court rulings to restore some companies that had been privatized, Saleh said that the Investment Ministry respects all court rulings, noting that a panel of advisers and technicians is studying how to execute the court orders. |
