Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met with Russian ambassador to Yemen, Vladimir Petrovich.
In the meeting, al-Qirbi and Petrovich discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of boosting them in all fields as well as the underway preparations for holding the first meeting the Yemeni-Russian Joint Committee by end of the Year in Moscow. The two sides also touched on the developments of the National Dialogue Conference and the required efforts from the ten countries sponsoring the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)- initiative to support the success of the conference to come up with the results that meet the aspirations of Yemenis. For his part, the Russian ambassador confirmed his country’s supportive position towards the efforts made by the Yemeni government and President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to bring Yemen out to safety. |
