Minister of Housing and Utilities Ibrahim Mahlab is due to refer to the board of the New Urban Communities Authority at its coming meeting a new package of incentives the authority is due to extend to real estate investors, prior to submitting it to the Cabinet for endorsement.
Meeting with members of the general section for real estate investment, the minister said the incentives come in response to their demands and to encourage entrepreneurs to pump more investments and set up projects. The Minister noted that there should be strict and defined deadlines to which the urban communities authority would conform, calling on investors to head directly to the authority in case of meeting any problem. |
