Interim President Adli Mansour received on 27/10/2013 Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish.
The meeting reviewed the progress of navigation in the Suez Canal waterway and the measures taken by the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior for securing navigation in the Canal. The meeting also reviewed preparations the Suez Canal Authority has taken to act as the official umbrella for carrying out the national project for developing the Suez Canal zone. The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority briefed the President on the project. During the meeting, the President said youth from the Suez Canal cities should be given a chance to take part in carrying out the project. Mansour said preparations for the project should be based on sound economic and legal bases with the aim of guaranteeing the Egyptian national security. |
