Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have signed an agreement for supporting the Egyptian development program.
Under the agreement, the UAE would extend a sum of $ 4.9 billion for carrying out projects for upgrading the services sector, enhancing the living standards and human resources in Egypt. The signing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem el Biblawy, during a visit to the UAE. During the ceremony, Dr Biblawy said the security of the Gulf and the United Arab Emirates is an integral part of the Egyptian national security adding what is taking place between Egypt and a number of Arab countries is just a beginning of cooperation among the states of the Arab nation. |
