The Egyptian Exchange indexes closed in October up and the market capital gained EGP 24.6 billion to hit EGP 402 billion.
During the course of the month, the benchmark index EGX 30 jumped 9.9 percent to 6,182 points, said a monthly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) soared 6.26 percent, reaching 517 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up 6.92 percent to hit 867 points. |
