The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes went up during the past week. The EGX 30 benchmark index rose by 2.39 percent to close at 632 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 1.31 percent, reaching 525 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 1.69 percent to close at 882 points. EGX 20 index rose by 1.83 percent to close at 7367 points. The market capital gained 5.1 billion pounds to reach 408 billion pounds. |
