The UAE Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and Egypt’s Social Fund for Development have signed an agreement setting a framework for investing in the development of enterprises projects in Egypt.
The agreement was inked on the sidelines of the Egyptian-Gulf Investment Forum, which began in Cairo. The Egyptian fund said in a statement that in accordance with the agreement it will invest $200 million through the Khalifa Fund to develop Egyptian enterprises to achieve the targeted social and economical goals in Egypt. This would help improve conditions in poor areas in Egypt. |
