Prime Minister Hazem el-Biblawy met on 26/1/2014 with Scientific Adviser to the President Essam Heggi, who briefed the Prime Minister on the current efforts to activate the role of the Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST).
The meeting was attended by Scientific Research Minister Ramzi Estino. During the meeting, Heggi pointed out to the Egyptian space program, as the presidency is currently drafting a bill to establish an Egyptian space agency, said Cabinet Spokesman Ambassador Hani Salah. Salah added that the agency will be tasked with considering Egypt's water resources and searching for alternative resources. |
