The General Authority for Supply Commodities has signed a contract to buy 240,000 tons of wheat from Russia and the United States.
The amounts would be imported as of March 10 at an average price of 299 dollars per ton including shipping charges. Egypt's stock of wheat meets its needs until May 18, Supply and Internal Trade Minister Mohamed Abu Shady said. |
