The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained 25.1 billion dollars pounds in January, reaching about EGP 451.9 billion dollars compared to 426 billion dollars of December.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 9.18 percent to close at 7,405 points.
The total trading value registered at 19.1 billion EGP with 5,792 million securities traded at 643,000 transactions in January, compared to a turnover valued at 15.5 billion EGP, with 3,454 million securities traded at 494,000 transactions in December. |
