Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker denied reports on an increase in power bills.
In statements on 9/3/2014, Shaker stated that any increase in the power prices should be ratified by the Cabinet, asserting the government is taking into consideration the social dimension and limited-income people when mulling any increase in power prices. He said the current bills are representing the actual consumption of citizens and that power companies welcome receiving any complaints about bills. |
