Deficit of trade balance went down by 21.4 per cent in December to hit LE 18.04 billion against LE 22.95 billion in the corresponding period of 2012, said the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
In a monthly bulletin, CAPMAS said value of exports declined by 3.1 per cent to reach LE 16.82 billion in December against LE 17.35 billion in the corresponding period of 2012. Imports decreased by 13.5 per cent in December to reach LE 34.86 billion against LE 40.3 billion. |
