Finance Minister Hany Qadry urged the Committee of Ten, which includes African countries, to adopt and follow up executive steps required for representing Africa in the Group of Twenty, the Finance Ministry said in a statement on 11/04/2014.
The committee should take steps in order to obtain an extra seat at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) board of directors, Qadry said during the committee's ministerial meeting on the sidelines of the IMF and the World Bank (WB) spring meetings in Washington. Minister Qadry said that the meeting reviewed the latest developments of the global economy and their potential impact on African countries. |
