Culture Minister Mohamed Saber Arab visited on 8/4/2014 the Arab Music Institute in downtown Cairo. During the visit, the minister toured the institute's departments: the Theater of the Arab Music Institute, the Music Library, and Mohamed Abdel Wahab Museum.
For his part, Arab thanked the Ruler of Sharjah Dr. Muhammad al-Qasimi for donating LE 100 million for building the new document house in Ain Sira, which would be inaugurated late this month, and Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said for offering a finance of LE 54 million for renovating Mansoura National Theater. Arab suggested documenting the institute's history and holding seminars about its role in developing Arabic music. |
