Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab underlined the need for forming a group of Egyptian scientists abroad to take part in drawing up Egypt's comprehensive development program.
The remark came during a meeting held between Mahlab and renowned Egyptian scientist and director of the remote sensing institute at Boston University Dr. Farouq el-Baz. During the meeting, el-Baz reviewed the outcome of research being conducted in Egypt on modern space pictures that were captured recently. The outcome of the research indicates that these Egyptian areas are promising at an economic level, given their capabilities and natural wealth. |
