Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab discussed with Jordan's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Mohamed Mossa Hamed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, oil and gas.
They discussed the project of transferring the Iraqi crude oil via Jordanian territories to the export port in Aqaba city. They also discussed the possibility of making use of the infrastructure of Arab gas pipeline to export Iraqi gas to Egypt and Jordan. The meeting touched on using renewable energy, especially solar energy, and other alternatives to the traditional energy sources. |
