The government is currently drawing up an integrated plan to secure radical solutions to the transportations' crisis nationwide after Eid Al-Fitr.
Such a plan came within the framework of the President's directives. This came during a meeting held in the Investment Ministry headquarters. The meeting was attended by ministers of Investment, Tourism, Transport and Planning. A company for public transportation would be formed at a capital of EGP 1 billion. For his part, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman said that an agreement was reached with Misr Travel to use its buses to link between Cairo and new cities. |
