President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on 3/8/2014 with CEO of Bloomberg Consortium David Bloomberg and its managing director for West African operations.
The meeting which was attended by Minister of Supply Khaled Hanafi discussed setting up three propjets. The first project is for establishing a factory for storing technology and logistics. This factory will be the first one of its kind in the Middle East as it will serve the local and Arab markets and will be specialized in handling and storing food products. The second project is for establishing silos for storing wheat all over the republic. The third project is for setting up 10 logistical zones for serving domestic trade in different governorates. The establishment of these zones will save 40% of food products which are squandered as a result of bad handling and packaging. |
