Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Hisham Ramez launched an initiative to eliminate the dealings of dollar on the black market.
As for the economic situation, Ramez said the CBE has managed to maintain the banking sector over the past three years, the most difficult periods in Egypt's history. As for the maximum wage, Ramez said it was applied on all banks in July. "The heads of public sector banks respect and comply with the law on maximum wage," he added. |
