Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Wealth Eng. Sherif Ismail has chaired a meeting of the board of directors of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation to discuss and approve its plan and outcome of works for the fiscal year 2013-2014.
During the meeting, the minister stressed the importance of pressing ahead with developing petroleum resources to meet domestic demands. Ismail asserted the need for luring more investments in the research and exploration fields for developing oil discoveries. The minister called for developing current refineries to improve their capacities and produce high quality petroleum products. |
