President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held a meeting on 29/9/2014 with Head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Aziz Saif el-Deen, and Professor at the National Institute of Oceanography Dr. Amr Zakaria Hamouda to discuss ways to develop fisheries.
The meeting touched upon challenges facing the increase of fish production, said Spokesman for the Presidency Alaa Youssef. Sisi underlined the importance of taking advantage of Egyptian water resources through increasing fish production, and developing means of fish farming along with following the latest global systems to fulfill the needs of citizens. Sisi called for preparing an integrated plan to achieve these objectives. |
