Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has pledged to solve problems facing fertilizer companies, noting that his government seeks to boost fertilizers production in Egypt.
This came during a meeting on 30/9/2014 with ministers of industry, finance, investment, planning, agriculture and petroleum along with representatives from fertilizers' companies. Industry Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour pointed out that the low production rates and the high manufacturing costs affected fertilizers industry negatively. Mahlab ordered the formation of a working group to start considering means to overcome obstacles facing fertilizer sector. |
