The Egyptian Stock Exchange made gains at the end of 22/10/2014 trading session backed by purchases by Arab and foreign institutions and investment funds.
The market capital achieved gains worth 6 billion pounds to reach 495.9 billion pounds after transactions hit 1.17 billion pounds. The EGX 30 benchmark index leapfrogged 2.07 per cent to close at 8,811.88 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose by 1.6 per cent. |
