The Ajman Tourism Development Department, ATDD, has announced that the number of visitors to Ajman increased by 46 percent during the first half of 2014, compared to the same period in 2013. The announcement was made on the sidelines of the World Travel Market (WTM London).
Khulood Khaled Al Nuaimi, ATDD Director of Tourism Development and Marketing, said, "The number of hotel establishments’ guests reached 415,000 during the first six months of 2014, compared to 285,000 guests during the same period in 2013. "The number of hotel guests in the first half of 2014 was 272,000, compared to 150,000 guests during the same period of 2013, while the number of hotel apartments’ guests increased by 10,000 to 145,000 guests in the first half of 2014, against 135,000 in the first half of 2013," she added. |
