Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri met on Saturday15/11/2014 with Singapore's Foreign Minister K. Shanmugam on the sidelines of Sir Bani Yas Forum which is held in Abu Dhabi, a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said.
The two top diplomats discussed the deeply-rooted relations binding Egypt and Singapore. The Egyptian minister voiced appreciation for Singapore's stances supportive of the Egyptian people's choices and the June 30 revolution. He reviewed measures taken by the Egyptian government to prepare for an economic conference next March. The two sides also took up ways of boosting bilateral relations. |
