Prime Minister Khalid Bahah has discussed during his meeting with Special Envoy and Representative of GCC Secretary General in Yemen Saleh Bin Abdulaziz Al-Qunaieer development at the national arena in the light of the new government's formation.
The two officials talked about the government's tasks in implementing the Peace and Partnership Agreement based on the National Dialogue Conference (NDC)'s outcomes as well as the required regional and international support to push Yemen forward in order to achieve its aspirations. The meeting also touched on the importance of continuing the GCC positive role in assisting the country during the current and future period to overcome its situations and ongoing challenges. The Premier expressed appreciation of Yemen to the GCC's leadership for its positive positions beside Yemen and its keenness to restore the country's security and stability. In return, the GCC special envoy congratulated Yemen for the formation of the new government, affirming that the GCC would support the new government and standing beside the security, stability and unity of Yemen. |
