The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, TRA, has participated in the Letter of Loyalty to the Leader on the occasion of the 43rd National Day Celebrations.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the event is known for being the longest honourific marathon in the world. Also known as Al Wafa Marathon, the event comes in recognition, and expresses the values, of loyalty by the UAE people to the leader of giving, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, whose great deeds have continuously impacted the nation and its citizens. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, Director-General of the TRA, said, "We are pleased and honoured to be part of this annual event, for what it represents in significance and noble values, as it carries a message of appreciation and gratitude of the citizens of the UAE to the leader and teacher of the nation, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa. It is through sponsoring of this important event that we are given the opportunity to invite our employees in the TRA to participate in the Marathon Letter of Loyalty to the Leader. This has led to our contribution in highlighting and informing the world about the initiatives supported by the nation’s ICT sector." |
