Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, on Thursday met with Hassan Qashqavi, Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranian Expatriate Affairs, who is currently on a visit to the country to participate in the 9th meeting of the Joint Consular Committee between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
At the meeting, which was held in the Foreign Ministry in Dubai, Dr. Gargash welcomed Qashqavi and his accompanying delegation and discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in various spheres. They also discussed issues of common interest as well as topics on the agenda of the Joint Consular Committee. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, and Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office in Dubai, also attended the meeting. |
