Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab attended the signing of a memo of understanding between the Communications Ministry and MasterCard on 05/02/2015.
The memo was co-signed by Communications Minister Atef Helmy and President of MasterCard Ajaypal Singh Banga. The deal aims to establish a working relationship between the two sides and form strategic alliance chances regarding offering solutions to electronic portfolios through cell phones and connecting them with the national ID of users. As per the deal, MasterCard will bring the latest payment technology innovations to the market. In addition, the company will support the Egyptian government to digitize its customer base. |
