Yemen is to take part in the international tourism and travel fairs in Germany and Russia to be held in the coming March, the Tourism Promotion Council (TPC) said.
The participation will keep Yemen on the European and international tourist map in the light of declining tourism movement from European countries to Yemen, the TPC Executive Director Fatima al-Huraibi told the Defense Ministry website. She said that joint meetings participants will be held as part of the fairs' activities aiming at reviewing the obstacles and challenges facing tourist sector at the global level, including Yemen. Yemeni tourist products will be exhibited in a special wing with the participation of a number of travel agencies in Yemen, she added. |
