Egypt stressed the necessity of ensuring coordination among the Arab governments for setting up an Arab body for manufacturing the agriculture production requirements and also an Arab company for increasing good seeds to fill the food gap.
This came during the conference tackling wheat and barley cultivation in the Arab region, which was kicked off in Cairo on 12/03/2015. Agriculture Minister Saleh El-Din Helal inaugurated the two-day event organized by the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD). The conference will review efforts exerted to reduce new kinds of wheat and barley that are able to resist current climate changes in the region. |
